Dream Ctcher
Dream Catcher Evening
Thursday 25 April 2019 6.30pm – 9.00pm The Dream Catcher originated from the Ojibwe people, who tell a tale of Asibikaashi, the Spider Woman who looked after the children and people f the land. When the Ojibwe nation grew to cover the whole of North America, it became difficult for her to reach all the children. So mothers would weave these magical webs to filter out all bad dreams, allowing only god thoughts and dreams to enter the children's minds. In this workshop you can learn to make your own dream catcher, however we can't promise pleasant dreams! All materials and equipment are provided.
